Software support / BIOS Removal Help?
« on: December 26, 2009, 12:50:11 pm »
Does anybody know a way to remove, change, or disable the BIOS password WITHOUT removing the CMOS battery? Would be much appreciated.

Sigh.. Yea, I did sign a contract. I believe the contract said that I could not mess with their network, and I was not supposed to do anything in the class besides the work that I am required to do. I don't remember anything about downloading software on the laptop.

Theres a warranty on this thing, so if it gets messed up, they won't care..

Okay, hey guys. I need some help.

I got a laptop from my school. I go to a technology highschool, and they supply us with tablets. Unfortunately, the laptops are filled with software to not let us have fun with them at home. I need to find a way to get administrator access on the laptop.

I have tried doing the cmd hacks, but they all give me

"Syntax error 5

Access is denied"

or something like that.. So it is really complicated. I don't think I can boot into a new OS or anything, because I don't have a CD/DVD drive on this thing.

Anyone have any methods to do this?

Extra Info:

Windows XP Pro SP3.

Thanks
-Rahul
